Alumex recently conducted a sales/customer training workshop at Hotel Galadari for their dealers under the theme” Service Quality' and 'Motivation” with Dhammika Kalapuge, one of the most reputed marketing consultants with over 20 years experience as a lecturer/ management consultant in Sri Lanka and overseas. There were seventy eight sales personnel from the Alumex island-wide dealer network who participated in this event. The full day training was held at Galadari Hotel in Colombo and all the participants were awarded with certificates of attendance. Nov 04, 2010 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's Hayleys conglomerate has bought the Alumex group, a big manufacturer of aluminium extrusions, for 2.185 billion rupees, a stock exchange filing said.Alutec Anodising & Machine Tools, known as the Alumex group, has five subsidiaries and has a market share of around 55 percent in the local market, Hayleys said in a statement. Alumex employs about 400 people and has a manufacturing facility on a seven-acre site in the Sapugaskanda industrial park north of Colombo. |
